We booked our holiday to our Antigua paradise for the Christmas break with Virgin Holidays. Virgin offered insurance at the time but I always find it better to shop around so I took to the web and the usual comparison sites.

 

One thing became apparent after requesting a few quotes, unless you are all healthy and do not have to declare any medical conditions, getting a simple quote it NOT easy and prices soon go up considerably once the medical declaration form is completed.

 

I was looking for insurance for the whole family and we have a number of medical conditions such as:

So after three days of searching, quotes that run into silly figures, blatant non coverage of any medical condition worse than hay fever, I eventually found a company that provided a year long insurance cover at a reasonable price.
